Garden Don't Care ↗ is one of the four gardens across xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and səl̓ílwətaʔ/selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) territories where our project Looking at the Garden Fence grew, worked, partied, made art, laughed and cried. Garden Don’t Care is located in the alleyway at 2954 West 4th Avenue and it has been tended by an artists collective (Julia, Kurtis, Conor, Emma, Salem, Vivienne, Derya, Tobin and Rowan) from 2018 to 2021.
